9.00am Wake up & Shake up LIVE*
First thing in the morning we will dance and sing a song of joy ... especially for our ARK children and those young at heart.
9.30am Morning Prayer
Morning prayer is intended and arranged to sanctify the morning. St. Basil the Great gives an excellent description of this character in these words: "It is said in the morning in order that the first stirrings of our mind and will may be consecrated to God and that we may take nothing in hand until we have been gladdened by the thought of God, as it is written: 'I was mindful of God and was glad' (Ps 77:4)."

10.00am Fr May: We are Family*
This morning Fr May will kick off our virtual gathering. Our first Spiritual Guardian, composer of the rule and faithful father, grandfather and great grandfather to our Maltfriscan Family. One not to miss come and join him LIVE on ZOOM where he is sure to inspire and challenge us.
1.30pm Coffee & catch up
A social drop-in with no agenda to touch base and have a catch-up. A chance to meet new faces and reconnect with familiar (maybe older and wrinklier). All are welcome!
At 2pm a group will split off for discussions on the morning's input (please join before 2pm to be part of this group discussion).
4.00pm Mass with the community
Please open the chat facility during Mass to access the words of the songs.
5.30pm Evening Prayer (Vespers)
Vespers, also called Evening Prayer, is part of the Liturgy of the Hours, also known as the Divine Office. In the Liturgy of the Hours, the Church fulfils Jesus' command to "pray always" (Luke 18:1; see also 1 Thessalonians 5:17). Through this prayer, the people of God sanctify the day by continual praise of God and prayers of intercession for the needs of the world.
Lectio Divina is a Latin term which means "divine reading" and describes a way of reading the Scriptures whereby we gradually let go of our own agenda and open ourselves to what God wants to say to us. The Word of God is alive and active and will transform each of us if we open ourselves to receive what God wants to give us.
8.00pm Business Meeting
This ZOOM is for the Committed Members of the Maltfriscan Community. This year our business session will look very different. All Committed adult Maltfriscans are asked to try and make this time available as best they can. This is the Supreme Council where any decisions and votes that need to happen will take place. Please make sure you have read the supporting documents that were in the last Bripper before the meeting.
9.00pm Night Prayer
Night prayer is the last prayer of the day, said before we head to bed. The Psalms that are chosen for Night Prayer are full of confidence in the Lord. As children of the promise we gather in that confidence and end our day together. After night prayer each night a social time will continue for anyone who would like to grab a drink and stay on the call.
* These zooms will be recorded and available for those unable to attend approximately 2 hours after the LIVE session. Please ensure your camera is switched off in these sessions if you do not wish to be recorded.
